Welcome

Hey there, friend. You’ve found the onging and rolling portfolio of Huck Photography. New work, old shots and a few favorites. Thanks for stopping by. Take a look around. Hope you see something you like. If you do, give a shout. I’d be thrilled to shoot you. Um, you know what I mean, right?

Lamb of the Bird

I recently had the opportunity to shoot Brown Bird when they came to town with The Devil Makes Three. This shot of David Lamb is one of my favorites from the evening. Check them out if you get the chance. You won’t regret it.

Creative Office Pavilion / Murray, Plumb & Murray Party

I had a great time shooting the fun folks at the Creative Office Pavilion / Murray, Plumb & Murray Holiday Party last night in Portland. A beautiful space, great food, good music and fun times. Thanks y’all.

If you were there and want to check out the full gallery from the in event - including the photo booth - click on over here.

A big thanks to my assisant for the evening, Talley Perkins. Great job!

Enjoy!

Portland Blues with Beam & Fink

I am in middle of reading a book called Deep Blues: A Musical and Cultural History of the Mississippi Delta so the timing was perfect this weekend to head out and shoot Beam & Fink, an acoustic country blues and roots duo here in Portland. Check them out live if you get the chance. Good stuff.

A Ghost is Born

Halloween two years ago I looked out my front window and saw the kid across the street sitting on his front porch. It was one of those perfect moments. These shots remain a few of my favorites. When you see it. Shoot it. Happy Halloween.

One of Seven. Deadly. Delicious.

A series of promo shots of Joe Ricchio for the new series Food Coma TV. Based on his popular blog, Portland Food Coma, the show is a series of short films reporting on the sometimes overlooked food culture of Maine that exists outside Portland’s city limits.
